Course Title: Understanding the Pelvic Floor & Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Speaker: Aniekan “Ann” Nwabuebo, DPT, WCS, PRPC

Course Description: This course will provide an overview of pelvic floor functional anatomy, including key functional relationships between the pelvic floor and the low back, hip, and abdominal wall. Common pelvic floor disorders are discussed with treatment considerations for the general physical therapy practitioner. Special emphasis will be given for indications for when to refer to a pelvic-floor specialty practitioner.
