Title: Ethical and Essential Conduct in the Time of a Triple Epidemic presented by Laurita M. Hack, DPT, PhD, MBA, FAPTA

Course Description:
The triple epidemics of COVID-19, racial injustice, and economic crisis mean real challenges now and into the future for the practice of physical therapy. Now is the time to bring together all of our resources to meet the needs of our patients and clients. This session is designed to explore the role of ethics in moving beyond these challenges, beyond mediocrity, to choosing the path to excellence in patient care and clinical education. It will explore the reasons why physical therapy is an essential service and how we choose to provide that service in times of challenge through the lens of ethics. It will also explore the interrelationships among our own ethics and the expectations placed on us by our practice setting and by society.
