Course Description: This course is designed to teach Physical Therapists the evaluation and application of functional movement patterns across the age and abilities continuum. The instructors will review movement continuums of the squat, deadlift, horizontal press/pull and locomotion and how to implement these patterns with individuals across the acute care through outpatient orthopedic settings.

Course Objectives:

Participants will be able to create a movement continuum for squats, deadlifts, horizontal press/pull and locomotion.

Participants will be able to apply this continuum across the lifespan in all rehab settings.

Participants will be able to create an individualized program to address functional limitations and functional impairments and where people fit into the continuum.

Participants will be able to identify standards for progressions through the continuum.
CEUs: This course has been approved for 2 hours of evaluative and 1 hour general of contact hours by the PA State Board of Physical Therapy (3.0 Total Contact Hours)
