Course Description:
This course will cover a refined method of critical thinking using the Maitland Model, to allow the therapist to become more efficient and effective in both the evaluation process as well as in treatment of the cervical spine. Lecture material will cover the current best practice on evaluating and differential diagnosis of various cervical spine conditions, review of identification of red and yellow flags, educate in identifying manual therapy and therapeutic strategies for this patient population. Lab component of this course will include review and practice of selected cervical spine mobilization techniques.
