Speaker: Kerin Cook, PT, OCS Originally from San Francisco Bay Area, CA, Kerin received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in Orange CA. Kerin recently graduated with a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Montana. Kerin is a Board Certification Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) since 2012 and has certification in pelvic physical therapy through the APTA in 2012. Kerin has also completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training course in 2016. Kerin began working for Physical Therapy of Evangelical (Miller Center location) in Lewisburg in October 2018. Kerin is developing a pelvic health program while also treating orthopedic patients. Kerin previously worked for Wasatch Peak Physical Therapy in Layton, Utah where she successfully developed a pelvic health practice while working in outpatient orthopedics. Kerin has spoken at community events, conferences, resident trainings and has made TV and radio appearances. Kerin believes strong orthopedic skills are needed to be a good pelvic therapist due to the complicated nature of differential diagnosis in this area and knowledge of pelvic health has made her a better orthopedic clinician. |
