Course Objectives:

1. Understand the growing need and importance for Assistive/Adaptive Technology Continuing Education.

2. Understand the professional and non-professional resources available for Assistive/Adaptive Technology.

3. Identify Funding Sources for Assistive/Adaptive Technology. 

4.  Identify common household objects that can be modified to promote patient independence and function for low tech modifications in our patient populations.

5. Identify legal and ethical issues from assistive/adaptive tech devices.
