Course Description: As physical therapists we are faced with challenges that not only test our knowledge but our overall comfort levels. With advanced wound training and collaboration with our colleagues we improve our confidence and wound healing outcomes. This session will investigate the proper assessment of nutritional components of healing, the impact of exercise and aging on the healing process. These components of wound healing will ultimately impact treatment decisions.
