The Importances of Standardized Assessment items for the Home Health Physical Therapist: Following the Evidence for High Quality CareNovember 11, 2025 at 6:30 (in-person social), 7:00 (education) until 8:30 PM Location: HYBRID - Saint Francis University Stokes Athletic Complex (140 Lakeview Drive, Loretto, PA 15940) Room 221 Hosted by the Westcentral District This lecture-based course will expand on the history of reimbursement in the home health sector, current requirements of home health eligibility, and the value and role of physical therapy in the home health setting. Speaker: Nick Panaro, DPT, COS-C is the Director of Rehab Services for UPMC Home Healthcare since 2022. He has 22 years of experience as a PT and has been practicing in the home health setting since 2007. Nick graduated from Saint Francis University in 2003 with an MPT and then completed his DPT at Temple University in 2015. He has presented various topics relating to Physical Therapy in the Home Health setting nationally. Nick is also a founding member of APTA’s Home Health Academy’s Advanced Competency in Home Health certification program.
