APTA PA will host a virtual Town Hall on Thursday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend as we will cover important legislation that will affect the physical therapy profession within the Commonwealth, as well as association updates.

Currently HB 2267, from the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association requesting Chiropractor Assistants, was introduced in January. SB 1160 and SB 1161 was introduced by the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Association and would allow ATs to be able to manage “individual” instead of “physically active persons.”

These bills are opposed by APTA PA and we ask all members to mobilize as many PT/PTAs possible to learn more and to reach out to your legislators.
