More About the Speaker:
Haley Phillips, DPT, RYT200, has been practicing as a PT with Evangelical Community Hospital since August of 2016. Early in 2020, Haley began studying the specialty of pelvic health physical therapy. In October of 2020, Haley became Level 1 Certified through Herman and Wallace in female pelvic floor function, dysfunction, and treatment. Haley's professional background also includes the completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher certification which she completed in October of 2018. Practicing in the field of physical therapy for the past 5.5 years, Haley has come to appreciate the importance of looking holistically at her patients and noting the influence that a stressed-out nervous system has on pelvic health and orthopedic patients alike. In a society that is fast-paced and rarely slows down, Haley realizes the importance of empowering her patients to build their mindfulness and self-care strategies to heal from their injuries and prevent future injury.
