This one hour lecture course (webinar) will delve into identification and management of the female athlete triad.

More About the Speaker:
Breanne James, PT, has a passion for empowering women across their lifespan. She proudly is a Women’s Health Board Certified Specialist at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, Portage Outpatient Clinic. At CSSMCW Portage Clinic, her specialty includes female and male pelvic health, pediatric pelvic health, lymphedema/swelling, and oncology physical therapy treatment. She is a Female Strength & Powerlifting Health Specialist for Progressive Rehab and Strength, LLC and an adjunctive professor at Saint Francis University for their Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Breanne holds both Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Saint Francis University. She completed the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s accredited Women’s Rehab/Men’s Health residency program as part of becoming a Women’s Health Board Certified Clinical Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Specialist. She is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Birth Doula. Growing up, she has been a lifelong athlete, participating and competing in gymnastics, dance, softball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. After completing her residency, she regularly began barbell training and CrossFit at Legends Warehouse. It was not until she met Dr. Rori Alter at the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in 2019 where her passion for helping exercising and barbell training women aligned. Dr. Alter and Dr. James completed a platform presentation at APTA’s CSM 2020 on Powerlifting Urinary Incontinence.
