This course provides an overview of the physiology associated with COVID-19. Several journal articles are discussed with the perspective of having lived with the virus for nine months. There is an examination of medical interventions, vaccines and types of testing available. First-hand descriptions of providing physical therapy treatments to patients in an acute-care setting are offered. The material is evidence-based and updated continuously as COVID-19 continues to challenge our society and our profession.
