Course Description:
This course will focus on ethical concerns encountered in everyday physical therapy practice. It will start with a brief overview of ethical theories, the Code of Ethics for PTs and Standards of Ethical Conduct for the PTA. Following the introduction, participants will be placed in "virtual discussion groups" to reflect on the ethical issues and concerns in a case. Each group will provide a brief summary of their discussion, and the presenter will conclude with follow-up comments and feedback for further reflection.

Following the course, Ken Erb, SWD President, will hold a brief business meeting.

This educational offering will be held via Zoom. All registrants will receive the Zoom meeting link and password on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 8.
